Opening to the Sea

Peering over the edge through a break in the rose shrubs lining a perimeter path reveals a dramatic  scene below. Ocean waves dance between light and shadow as they lap against the tumbled weathered rocks found at the bottom. The contrast of brilliant sunlight and dark shadows on the water and rocks vitalize this piece. Southport Island,  Maine.
