Retreating Storm

This painting manages to keep from being to dreary by virtue of the sections of light warm sky  which seem to push the dark clouds from the scene and the highlighted sections of white foam that reinforce the impression that the sun is breaking through the storm. Lighthouse Cove, Pemaquid Point, Bristol, Maine.
