Artist Comments

In Port Clyde, Maine it is commonplace for a house or cottage to have a pier that stretches out into a cove or harbor, as well as lobster traps in the yard and buoys adorning the buildings, but do not mistake this for just decoration, this is working fishing town on the southernmost tip of the St. George peninsula, Maine. Trying to capture the essence of this scene was quite a challenge.

All original paintings are framed.

Fine art giclée prints of this painting are not available at this time.
